VINCI Airports – Business Continuity Policy includes a statement that “each VINCI Airport shall :

ensure Business Continuity shall be directly linked to risk management, (a designated risk committee will carry out an annual review of its processes. Each business unit will identify its threats and vulnerabilities, developing opportunities for risk mitigation to prevent the occurrence and/or reduce the impact).

The subject requirement will be to review how each VINCI Airport meets this Policy requirement and recommend relevant best practice and areas for improvement across the VINCI Airports network.



Reporting to the Operations Director and the Senior Manager, Optimisation (Intern Supervisor) the Operational Safety Intern will undertake a key project:

- Survey and engage with a selection of VINCI Airports to determine:

o   For the strategic and operational accountability and management of operational risk:

  • What accountability, management and reporting structures are in place ?
  • What committee / meeting structures are in place, who attends and what is the level of attendance in the last [3] years ?

o   What is the methodology for risk management and maintaining risk registers including (but not limited to) ;

  • Hazard Identification
  • Risk classification and risk assessment
  • Risk review, reporting and communicating
  • Risk register structure and use throughout the organisation
  • Determine how Risk management is considered in operations and capex budgets and business planning

- From the information obtained :

o   Identify areas of best practice

o   Assess each VINCI Airport against VINCI Airports and industry best practice

o   Recommend what minimum structures and processes should be in place across the VINCI Network

o   Identify VINCI Airport that require support and development to meet the recommended minimum requirements



  • Generalist, Civil, Electro-mechanical, Industrial or aviation/aeronautical Graduate Engineer with high interest in airport projects and airport operations.
  • Knowledge of airport operations and security environment and airports in general is an advantage.
  • Willingness to work in an international, multi-cultural, transversal (Operation, technical, maintenance,…) and business oriented context
  • Rigor and developed communication/coordination skills.
  • Outgoing, endowed with recognized relational qualities;
  • Strong leadership, autonomy, proactivity
  • Team player and self‐motivated / ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Ability to convey, assimilate and summarise technical contents, project outcome and results internally or externally; to colleagues, clients or other stakeholders, in the form of reports or presentations.
  • Language: Fluent English (mandatory, written and spoken), French (optional). Most of the discussions and documents will be in English.
